So what does it take to get a motorcycle ready for the race
track?
Pretty simple looking question. What work is involved with
converting an everyday street bike into a track ready Superstock
motorcycle? In the next few paragraphs, I hope to give you
a basic idea of the changes that are made, and just what is
involved in doing that for a 2001 Suzuki SV650S motorcycle
as I am about to begin that process for the 2004 WERA Southeast
Sportsman racing season.

How long has Megan been racing?
At the beginning of the 2003 season, Megan began racing in
WERA. Jurassic
Bike furnished her with a track-prepped 1993 600cc Yamaha
Seca II to field in the D Superstock/D Superbike, Formula
2, and Clubman classes. She graduated from Ed Bargy Race School
and surprised everyone, mostly herself, by earning a podium
finish her first weekend racing. Click here
